Hi all
We are meeting at 4pm at Singapore Flyer – Outside Greek Theatre.
The organisers will be closing off the area to do some packing and set up.
So let’s gathering outside at 4pm. When everyones here we will go in together to mark the stage and sound test.
We only have limited time to mark stage and it is very important for you to get familiar with the performing area, dimensions and the position of each blocking on the actual stage.
Thus please so not be late, we need everyone there.
After sound test we will head off together for quick makan and start makeup and hair.
A note to new performers and a reminder to those with experience
A norm when preparing for a show, there might be alot of waiting time because we cannot anticipate the delays of unexpected change o schedule. So very important
1. Stick with the group at all times. If you are leaving the group please inform someone and make sure you whereabouts are known. Esp because this venue is an open area. We might need to go on stage for sound test or mark stage anytime and we need everyone to present. Same goes when standby for actual show.
2. When sound test and marking stage, be alert and attention always on the person leading the stage marking. We cannot afford to lose time when dancers talk amongst themselves. By now there shouldnt be any discussion on where your position is in each formation.
3. While waiting please do warm up or revise steps etc.
For those who knows makeup you can apply your base first if you prefer and let the makeup team handle the rest.
For those who know nuts then just let the make up team do everything.
Headgears or accessories please find ways to secure it. Safety pins, hairpins are a must. Bring to share around if possible.
Ok it is a long winded post. I am hoping as we progress and do more shows, we do not have to repeat all the above for each show to the dancers.

After our item (opening item), we would stay back to watch at least until Lily’s item. After that we would head off together for some place to settle down and chill out. Hope everyone can hang out together for a while to celebrate our hard work paid off!
