Updates…
Posted in NUS Arts Fest on April 15, 2008 by jaskooHi folks,
Just to post some updates for those who are eagerly waiting for dance classes to start again.
Hang in there, it will come soon. We’ve been working behind the scenes together with Huishan to iron out the details with the Association.
Also just to whet your appetite, there will probably be 2 major upcoming performances to prepare for in the later half of the year:
1) IDD 2008
2) A Nation in Concert 2008

Post concert reflections
Posted in NUS Arts Fest on March 8, 2008 by jaskooDear dancers,
It’s been an unforgettable experience working with everyone in this concert. Based on the feedback we’ve received so far, our item was very well received by the audience so thank you to everyone for working so hard on this. I think the final performance is the best run that we’ve ever done!
Special thanks to Aaron for always being on hand to help interpret and Angela for helping to come up with the signing (with Hina) and taking care of all the small little details today.
Kudos to everyone. We can now enjoy a good and well deserved break while we look forward to greater dance challenges in the future!
Hip hop till you drop~

Schedule for 8th Mar
Posted in NUS Arts Fest on February 27, 2008 by jaskooDear dancers,
These are the important timings that you will need to take note of on 8th March Sat.
1100H: Call time
1200H: Sound check + Lighting plot
1500H: Full Run
1730H: Final preperations + Dinner
1930H: House opens
2000H: Showtime!
On that day itself, the backstage will be pretty crowded with people and there will probably be lots of waiting time (wait to rush, rush to wait) so we appeal to everyone to stay together. If you need to go off anywhere (toilet, etc) please let at least one other person know.
PS: Lunch and dinner will be provided.
Costume
Posted in NUS Arts Fest on February 25, 2008 by jaskooHi guys,
Coming rehearsal on Wed, please bring all your costume accessories along and practice dancing with it.
Some other suggestions that I have for costuming include:
- bandanna
- beanie
- caps
- handkerchief (tied to pants, around the neck etc)
- wrist bands
